Daniel Bratu
Vice President, Operations Support, Genpact Europe

With Genpact since 2011, Daniel is responsible for the services and processes supporting Genpact’s core businesses in Europe, including location strategy, infrastructure & logistics, commercial operations and internal communication, procurement and vendor management. Prior to this, Daniel was instrumental in driving operational excellence as Europe Business Vertical Leader and Global Operating  Leader. Before joining Genpact, he held various executive roles from customer services to sales and technical support or operations delivery, including Regional Operations Lead for HP and Business Unit Manager for Siemens. Daniel holds a M.SC. in Computer Science and an Executive MBA from Asebuss.


Andrei Romanescu
Mentor for go-getters

Andrei Romanescu is a mentor for go-getters. He is passionate about helping individuals and teams at all levels get ahead of the game in the areas of Strategy, Execution and Leadership.
Throughout his 18-year career, Andrei has gained rich domestic and international experience in managing teams of up to 3,500 people and multi-million dollar operations. He likes to see opportunities when everyone else spots challenges, build on strengths, and strategize businesses.
Up until recently, Andrei was the Managing Director of HP Global Business Center and the first Romanian to take the helm of the operations. Under his leadership, the center has received important accolades from local public institutions and reputable international associations, for key contribution to the development of the shared services industry, value creation, overall performance and active engagement for the welfare of the society.

Ionut Anica-Popa
Director Business Relationships Department, Bucharest University of Economic Studies ASE

Ionut Anica-Popa began his career with Bucharest University of Economic Studies (ASE) in 2001. During his career at ASE, Ionut has held academic and administrative positions.•Starting with 2012, Ionut was Director of the Business Relationships Department or Rector’s counselor for business relationships.
In his current capacity Ionut is running Business Relationships Department, the department being responsible for developing new relationships and enhancing existing relationships between university and companies, professional associations and other type of NGOs and fundraising activities.
Ionut Anica-Popa holds a degree in Economic Informatics, masters in Management Information Systems and International Business and Economics, a Ph.D. in Accounting and postdoctoral studies.

Alexandru Tulai
Member of the Board of Directors at Cluj IT Cluster

Alexandru Tulai has over 30 years of experience in the IT business and over 15 years in research and academia. He coordinated multiple projects and he has lead implementations of integrated software solutions for the support and development of companies from different business sectors as well as governmental level projects. During the last years, Alexandru had an important role as a business developer and business coacher, leading teams of consultants in important international (Belgian, German, Swiss etc.) software companies and leading implementation projects in Romania and abroad, in public and private sectors. Alexandru is certified as a Change Management Practitioner from APMG International, London and currently is the CEO of an organizational and leadership development company. Since 2012, Alexandru Tulai was elected the President of the Cluj IT Cluster leading the strategic development of the organization and acting as a business development manager in several projects run by the Cluster. He is also an active supporter and promoter of technology transfer and innovation, creating during the last years important bridges between the academia and the business.

Sebastian Vaduva
President, The Informal School of IT

Dr. Vaduva is a successful Romanian-American entrepreneur with extensive international experience in marketing and sales in both U.S. and Romanian companies. Having immigrated to the US in 1989 at the age of 12, he started his first business at 17 and his second one three years later. After completing his undergraduate studies with a marketing degree, he obtained his MBA from the Weatherhead School of Management at CWRU at the height of the dot.com boom and bust, experiencing the ups and downs of the technology wave. In 1999 he became one of the youngest International Business and Marketing instructors at the University of Akron and in 2001, the director of The Center for Organizational Development within that university. At the same time he was co-directing a sizable US State Department grant under which he pursued a doctoral degree at the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest in the area of comparative entrepreneurial systems and mentalities. 
In 2004 he was recruited by the Fulbright commission as an international MBA program director and in 2005 became the Dean of the Griffiths School of Management. As the Managing Director of Advanced Solutions, Sebastian has delivered over 6.000 hrs. of corporate executive education in the areas of leadership, entrepreneurial and intrapreneurial mentality, communication and presentation, sales and marketing, customer orientation, team management and motivation, etc.
Over the last three years his work has been predominantly in the Romanian IT sector where he continues to train, mentor and coach numerous companies in the broad area of talent development.

Crina Ilie

Passionate HR professional, with the ability to effectively leverage multicultural talent and framework, always  willing to take on challenging assignments.
A strong HR professional with over 17 years of experience in various roles across the people management function, Crina leads Genpact’s Europe Recruitment, Learning & Development departments, focusing on both staffing and recruitment and knowledge transfer, knowledge management framework and training compliance & controllership.
Prior to Genpact she worked as HR Director for a major Healthcare provider and for a local HR Consultancy company covering recruitment, personnel leasing, soft skills trainings and HR advisory.

Amalia Sterescu
Senior Business Consultant & Personal Branding Strategist. Founder of Outsourcing Advisors & Public Speaking School.

Leader and Intrapreneur trained within several globally-relevant corporations, for the past 16 years she lead telecom and IT&C start-ups in Romania, India or China, her last role in the corporate world being Oracle Vice President.
Currently, she is an entrepreneur, founded her own consultancy company: Outsourcing Advisors, as well as a Public Speaking School – a tool for all entrepreneurs, senior managers or professionals who wish to employ public speaking as an alternative channel to promote and sale or to cultivate personal brand.
In the future, her efforts will focus on educating and training market leaders on the local outsourcing market, on expanding the education process of public speaking professionals as well as introducing this as an optional subject in as many schools as possible.
